Cookie policy
This policy explains how Terrabase Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on www.terrabase.co.uk. It should be read alongside our Privacy policy.

1 What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage (used by your browser to remember settings) and third-party content such as embedded videos.
Under UK law (PECR and UK GDPR), we must tell you what we use and, for non-essential items, obtain your consent before they are set or activated.
2 How we ask for your consent
When you first visit our site, a notice offers two choices:
- Essential only — only strictly necessary storage (such as your theme preference) is used. Embedded YouTube videos stay disabled until you choose to load an individual video or accept all cookies.
- Accept all — essential storage plus embedded YouTube players on blog articles.
Your choice is stored in your browser as terrabase-cookie-consent. You can change your mind at any time by clearing site data for terrabase.co.uk in your browser settings, or by using the buttons below.
3 Cookies and storage we use

These are required for basic site operation. We do not ask for consent before using them.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies on this marketing website.
4 Managing cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Guidance is available from your browser vendor (for example Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).
If you block all storage, the site will still work, but your theme and cookie preferences will not be remembered between visits, and embedded videos will not play unless you load them individually.
5 Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our website changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change accordingly.
